AT&T, Dupont, Credit Suisse, Belden, Viacom, Adobe All Announce Jobs Cuts

The barrage of bad news continues today with a number of companies announcing layoffs:
- AT&T said they will layoff 12,000, 4% of their total workforce.
- Dupont said they will layoff 2,500 full time and 4,000 contractor positions with more to come in 2009.
- Credit Suisse said they will layoff 5,300, 11% of their total workforce, primarily from their investment banking division.
- Belden, a St. Louis, MI based manufacturer, said they will layoff 1,800, 20% of their workforce.
- Viacom said they will layoff 850, 7% of their total workforce.
- Adobe said they will layoff 600.
