HP’s Hurd: “Exceptional Quarter”

May 19, 2010 at 10:39 am  ·  Category: Macro Economics, Market Commentary, Stocks

Outstanding quarter from Hewlett Packard (HPQ): Revenues up 13% from the year ago period which is a big increase for a company of this size.  All goods categories (servers, computers, printers, supplies) were strong.  Net income was up 25% from the year ago period.

HP is forecasting $4.45-$4.50 in EPS for the current fiscal year so at $47 the stock is actually cheap.
